3 main colors were used in the flag of Telangana Rakshana Sena party founded on 25 April 2026 under the leadership of Kalvakuntla Kavitha. They are yellow, green and blue. The top of the flag is 80 percent yellow and the bottom 20 percent green. The yellow part has Telangana map in blue in the middle. Each color has a special meaning. Founder Kalvakuntla Kavitha expressed the mission of the party through the respective colors.

The ideology
Former MP and former MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha founded the Telangana Rakshana Sena party on 25 April 2026, with the main aim of shaping the state according to the aspirations of Telangana's martyrs. Providing free education and healthcare to all, and improving job and employment opportunities for the youth, are among the party's most important goals. Giving due respect to the farmer who is the backbone of the country, and achieving a Telangana without social inequalities, is the party's principal aim.
Telangana-ism is the core ideology of the TRS party. The interests of Telangana come first. The party is ready at all times for a direct fight against forces that harm Telangana. If the Union Government acts in a way that damages the interests of the state, the party will not hesitate to revolt against it either. The aim is to fulfil the aspirations that were the foundation of the statehood movement.
Party chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha announced a special activity named Panchajanyam in the formation meeting of TRS party for comprehensive development of Telangana and removal of economic and political disparities in the state.
Telangana is a region bound up with thousands of years of culture. Its festivals, customs, celebrations, food, dress, literature and way of life are different from those of other regions. The TRS party has taken on the responsibility of preserving the culture here, which was damaged at the hands of colonial rulers. The aim is to protect this culture and pass the distinctiveness of this region on to future generations.

Ideologue of the Telangana Movement
The chief ideologue of the Telangana statehood movement. Through rational argument, research and relentless campaigns he exposed the neglect of the region and laid the intellectual foundation for its self-respect and autonomy.
Architect of the Constitution
The chief architect of the Indian Constitution and champion of the oppressed. His vision of social justice, equality and reservation, and Article 3, paved the legal path for Telangana and guides our administration.
Symbol of Telangana Rebellion
A legendary revolutionary of the Telangana Rebellion who stood defiantly against feudal oppression and armed landlords to protect her land and crop, symbolising the courage and self-respect of Telangana's women.
Tribal Revolutionary
A heroic Gond tribal leader who led an armed rebellion against the Nizam's rule. His slogan 'Jal, Jangal, Jameen' still voices the rights of indigenous people over their land and natural resources.
Veteran Freedom Fighter
An esteemed freedom fighter and statesman, the first minister to resign in 1969 in support of the Telangana movement. He devoted his life to weavers, backward classes and a self-respecting Telangana.

The main purpose of Telangana Rakshana Sena is to protect the rights provided by the constitution, social justice, development of self-respect of Telangana people and building a society without inequalities, to continuously work for the advancement of people of all communities.
Telangana is not just a geographical area. It is a life with self-respect born of struggles, where the labor of the farmer, the laborer, the dreams of the student, the future of the youth, the courage of women, the struggle of the downtrodden, the self-esteem of the people, is a land of consciousness built together.
History is not simply remembered. It is our responsibility to carry the spirit of those struggles into the construction of tomorrow's Telangana.
In our view, development is not just tall buildings, glass mansions, roads and industries. A poor family being able to live without fear, a student being able to move forward with confidence in their future, a farmer getting a fair price for their crop, a young person not having to depend on political contacts for a job, a woman having the right to decide her own life. That is true development.

In a democracy, the government elected by the people should be accountable to the people. Power does not belong to anyone. It is the responsibility of the people. We want to make this idea the foundation of our political culture.
For the Telangana Rakshana Sena, politics is not just an election-time event.
We see every issue that affects people's lives as a political issue. Our political approach is to listen to the people, understand the problem, fight for its solution, and if necessary stand with the people until the solution is implemented.
We firmly believe that social justice is the bedrock of our political journey.
It is our desire to end the despair that Dalits, Adivasis, Backward Classes, Minorities, Workers, Poor, Women, Disabled, Transgender, Youth of all sections, any marginalized section of the society should not have to fight again and again for their rights.
Equality should not be just a word in the constitution. It should be seen in our education, employment, governance, political representation and the daily lives of people.
Self-respect is not just a slogan. It is in our language. It is in our accent. It is in our culture. It is in our history. It is in our villages, in our festivals, in our songs, in the way of life of our people.
We want a Telangana that protects our accent from being degraded.
We want a Telangana that preserves our history without neglecting it. We want a Telangana that can compete with the modern world while preserving our culture.
The glory of Telangana should be seen not only as a political slogan but also in our governance, in our policies and in our development thinking.
It is not acceptable for us to see the youth as mere voters. The youth should have the right to take decisions on the future of Telangana.
Our policy is to increase opportunities for youth in education, skills, employment, self-employment, research, technology, industry and public life.
The situation of having to migrate for job should be reduced. It is our dream that the talented youth should get opportunities in Telangana to build their future.
Politics is not about harnessing the power of youth. Our aim is to involve the youth in political decision-making.
The Telangana farmer is not just a beneficiary of welfare schemes. The farmer is the backbone of the state's economy.
It is not enough to get rid of farmer's debts. The dream is to be able to live with dignity through agriculture.
Irrigation, affordable price, market facilities, crop insurance, storage centres, modern technology, agro-based industries should all be geared towards making the farmer a strong economic partner.
The farmer should not have to worry about the market after harvesting the crop.
Women's empowerment cannot be measured by security alone.
A woman should study. She should earn. She should own property. She should have the power to decide her own life. She should take political leadership if necessary.
Women should not be seen as mere beneficiaries of welfare schemes, but should be seen as decision makers in the family, economy, society and politics.
It is not just about giving opportunities to women. It is necessary to recognize their right to opportunities,
A public office should not be a place to scare people, but a place to serve people.
Every system that runs on people's money should be accountable to the people. Whoever is in power has to answer people's questions.
Transparency, honesty and public participation should be part of governance instead of a culture of corruption, abuse of power and use of government systems for political ends.
Democracy is not just voting every five years. People have the right to ask questions, the right to seek information and the right to participate in decisions.
Development of Telangana should not only revolve around Hyderabad.
Every district, every constituency, every mandal and every village should have development opportunities.
The development of Telangana will get its true meaning only when good education, healthcare, roads, water, employment, industries and infrastructure are available in the rural areas.
Development should not be a privilege for anyone. It should become a right for every region and every family.
Destruction of our water, soil and forests in the name of development is not progress.
Nature does not belong to our generation alone. Future generations also have a right to us.
Telangana needs a development model that achieves economic progress while conserving water, protecting the environment and creating employment.

Leadership is not about being ahead of people. Standing by people when they have problems. Being their voice where their voice is not heard. Traveling with them until the problem is solved,
Telangana should be built not just as a developed state, but as a state where every citizen can live with dignity.
Justice should become the right of everyone and not the right of a few.
Opportunities should be given on the basis of merit, talent and fair opportunity and not on the basis of contacts.
Governance should be shaped not only from the centers of power but also from the needs of the people.
Politics is not about dividing people. It should serve to unite people on their issues.
