Telangana Rakshana Sena

Telangana Rakshana Sena, formed under the leadership of former MP Smt. Kalvakuntla Kavitha to achieve a socially just Telangana, works for the advancement of the oppressed and neglected sections of the state, including SC, ST, BC, minorities, women and transgender people. It has drawn up a special plan of action for the development of each of these sections. TRS is working with dedication to fulfil the ideals of the martyrs of Telangana.

Telangana Rakshana Sena firmly believes that in a democratic India, politics is the one instrument that can change people's lives. The decisions that constitutionally elected representatives take in the legislatures, and the laws they make, shape the course of the nation's life and bring great changes to people's livelihoods. The aim of the TRS party is to win power through such powerful politics and bring light into lives lived in darkness. Power must stand as a pillar of support for the oppressed sections. With that aim, the party works to change the lives of the poor.

Whether they are labourers who toil day and night or intellectual workers who constantly give their minds to serving society, they are struggling to get through their days. Sixty percent of their income goes on their children's education and healthcare. As a result, 70 percent of families in Telangana are being financially crushed. Telangana Rakshana Sena has drawn up remarkable plans to lift poor and middle-class families out of this plight. Smt. Kalvakuntla Kavitha has resolved to give them financial relief and build a healthy society.

A state or a country advances on the path of development only through youth who walk the right path. India stands strong among the nations of the world as the country with the largest youth population. If governments show the right way at the stage when studies are complete and family responsibilities begin, the youth will display remarkable talent and become the backbone of society. It is the duty of governments to encourage their skills and create opportunities. Unfortunately, because of governments without foresight, the youth have so far been in deep despair. Telangana Rakshana Sena, under the leadership of Smt. Kalvakuntla Kavitha, has prepared schemes to give them the encouragement and opportunities they deserve. They will fill the youth of the state with new enthusiasm.

Present governments treat the farmer who feeds the nation worse than an insect. Even now, 50 percent of families live depending on agriculture. It is the duty of governments to see that the farmer who feeds everyone receives due respect. Smt. Kavitha's resolve is that the farmer, whose life's goal is to raise crops regardless of profit or loss, must be given a high place in society.
